Rado General Contracting builds custom homes and full renovations in the Midtown neighbourhoods we live in. We've built our reputation on three things: a single fixed price, a guaranteed completion date, and finishing in roughly half the time of our peers.

Origin story
Twenty years building Midtown Toronto homes.
Ofir Radovitzky founded Rado General Contracting with a single focus: residential construction in the Midtown Toronto neighbourhoods he knows best. Over the last two decades, that focus hasn't changed — just sharpened.
We build custom homes and full-gut renovations across North York and the surrounding neighbourhoods. The same in-house team, the same trade partners, the same approach to every project: one fixed price, one guaranteed completion date, no excuses.
Today Ofir leads a small core team and a network of trades who've worked side by side with us for more than a decade.

A price is a promise
If we quote a number, that number is the number. We do the diligence upfront so we can stand behind it and if a surprise comes up, that's our problem, not yours.

A timeline is too.
Your family being out of the house is real disruption to your kids, your pets, your work, your bank account. We treat the completion date as a deadline, not a target.

Job sites don't sit.
An empty job site is a builder's choice, not a fact of construction. Ours run from the first day to the last trades stacked, work overlapping, momentum protected.

The same hands. Every time.
Our plumber, electrician, HVAC, tile and cabinetry crews have worked with us for over a decade. That's not nostalgia it's the operational advantage that makes everything else possible.

The team
A small core. A deep bench.
Rado is intentionally lean a core team who run every project hands-on, supported by long-term trade partners who've been with us for 10+ years and who join us at the company holiday party every December.
Proof
We live in the houses we build.
Ofir's own home, 6,500 square feet, custom-built top to bottom, was delivered in 7½ months. The finest finishes in our portfolio, in a home he and his family actually live in.
Howie's own home, a 60-year-old bungalow, was gutted from top to bottom and his family moved in after only nine weeks.
We don't ask clients to trust a timeline we haven't trusted ourselves. Our own renovations and builds are part of the reference list.
